It is important not only to have an extended shelf-life but also the packaging should ensure that it looks attractive on the shelf and sustains itself throughout the supply chain filler, distribution, transportation, retailing. Tin cans being shelf stable which mean "it can be stored at an ambient temperature without refrigeration throughout the supply chain".
- Technical Requirements: According to GB/T9106 standard, the taper angle of the neck section must be controlled between 5-7 degrees, and the can neck must withstand an axial pressure of no less than 35N.
- Forming Process: After welding, the can body near the opening is placed in the gap between the inner and outer molds. Through the design of the shape and size of the necking mold, the can body is deformed within the mold according to the pre-designed shape.
- Equipment and Process: The new necking machine adopts a modular design and can simultaneously perform necking, flanging, and seaming of the matching lid, ensuring production efficiency and product quality.
- Quality Control: During the production process, airtightness testing and laser diameter measurement of the inner wall are required to ensure the sealing performance and integrity of the can body.
